Kendrick Lamar is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer, widely regarded as one of the most influential artists of his generation. Born on June 17, 1987, in Compton, California. He first gained attention with his mixtapes, particularly Overly Dedicated (2010), which led to his signing with Top Dawg Entertainment. Known for his insightful, socially conscious lyrics, Lamar addresses issues like race, violence, and identity.

GNX:

His recently dropped album GNX has been debuted at the number one spot on billboards. This album received great attention due to the fact of Lamar "dissing" another big performer, Drake. He also had various amounts of hidden features on this album, which were smaller rappers around the Los Angelas area. This album also help Lamar earn the right to be the most listened to rapper on Spotify.

Superbowl:

Kendrick Lamar was selected to perform during the half time show in this year's Superbowl. His performance also featured SZA, Serena Williams, and Samuel L. Jackson. Performing at the Superbowl is one of the greatest things you can achieve as an artist 133.5 million people tuned in to watch his Superbowl performance.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA have announced their highly anticipated Grand National Tour, set to take place in 2025. This extensive tour will span both North America and Europe, featuring performances in major stadiums across the United States, including Minneapolis, Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Detroit, and Toronto.

9. Classmate Blog Critique

MM 3503 - JUDD SAMPLES During the semester I have enjoyed reading and seeing Judd's media presentation and position papers. I have personally used his blog for ideas for some of my own projects. I like how his storytelling makes his content very easy to read. His work is easy to understand. I also enjoy the color pallet of his website. He uses colors that really attract the viewer. I have personally upgraded my color palette of my blog for this reason alone. I also liked how his topics were topics I wasn't very familiar about. Through his work I was able to learn a lot about these topics. One of these topics was his blog on Critiquing a Media Critic  , where I learned about a channel ran by Brittany Browski.
